I won a Yamaha mx80, way back when. When I went to pick it up I asked if I could trade it in on a bigger one. They said that they wouldn't take it in trade because they had too many. The bike was brand new...never ridden. So, I kept it a couple of years...rode it in the driveway a little and sold it.

At my senior year post-prom party, I won a 32qt cooler and a microwave. That microwave served my roommates and me VERY well throughout college and then 3-4 years post college.

When I was in college, I won a 7ct (or so) pear-shaped blue topaz. My mom gave me a small-ish diamond (roughly 2mm x 2mm) to go with it. I bought a pendant and had them mounted.

Decided that I was going to save the pendant for my wife... Even though I wasn't even close to dating anyone at the time.

I gave the pendant to her on our wedding night.

I've won money on lottery tickets throughout the years but the most I've ever won in one shot was $200 in quarters on a video poker machine in Vegas. They had to come refill the machine with quarters to pay me, I couldn't help but wonder why they didn't use the paper voucher system everyone else in the city used. It was a place called Nevada Palace on Boulder Highway, it MAY have been one of the oldest casinos in the city.
