Let's try to not make this into a High Point thread.

For me and this is only personal opinion.

Sigs. I have absolutely no experience with them and I believe they must be great guns due to the loyal following they have. I just believe they are ugly.

    Berettas. Same as Sigs.

Anything in a Mannlicher stock. I like the looks of Mausers and Kentucky rifles, but for some reason think Mannlicher stocks are ugly.:dunno:

Any semi auto Smith and Wesson, Ruger, and CZ.

Anything bullpup. I don't even like that name.

Typically I'm a man of function but I like my guns to look good.:ingo:

I'm in agreement with everything said, except the Beretta comment. The 92 is a classic design, and easily recognizable, just like the 1911. The new Glock is FUGLY.

Hmm, good question. I can't think of any gun that the looks are the sole factor in my refusal to own one. Although I do have to like the way a gun looks to by it.

I used to have that kind of opinion about Glock. I grew up with 1911's. Actually I disliked all polymer framed handguns. Then in 2000 I shot a Glock for the first time. That was it, after that I bought a G22 and started carrying it.

From that time on I no longer cared what a gun looked like. I still think the Glock is ugly. But I can shoot it well so that is what I care about.

So no, now I will buy anything that is a performer regardless of how it looks.

Accessories are a different story. I refuse to have anything to do with those knives that mount on the accessory rail of a handgun. That just looks too goofy to me.

XD's are a no go on looks.
Glocks are ugly and I feel dirty when I touch them.
Keltec will not be forgiven for the Tec-9.
Hipoints stay away because I have certain standards.

Sig P210 is the Adonis of hand guns.

I was once offered a Noble Model 60 pump action shotgun. I told the owner that it would occupy valuable space in my gunsafe that I could use to store a pointed stick or something else more useful.

I just like guns period and there are only 2 I can think of that I wouldn't buy because of the way they look. I have never seen a High Point in person but from pics they are rather strange looking. Glocks are a different story though, they look as bad in person as in photos.

Kel-tec Sub 2000 and SU 16. Just doesn't do it for me.

Also, I almost didn't buy my Hi-Point 995 because it is so ugly in its original stock. But it was so cheap I couldn't resist, plus there is a much nicer ATI stock that can be easily installed.
