About the only modern gun that's performance should be negatively effected by wet, rainy weather would be a water gun. :D

Isn't this thread made to be a bit glock biased?

Not intentionally. That's why I referred to guns by their composition, not brand. Unfortunately, Glock fanboys think every polymer gun is either a Glock or a boat anchor.

Personally, I was expecting more of an even split between the poly's and the stainless crews.

When you think indestructible poly gun, you think glock.

They built their brand around it, the other poly's may be just a durable, but we've been brainwashed by marketing :draw:

What ever doesn't rust on you, honestly speaking.

Lots of stainless guns will rust, while anything with decent finish usually won't.

I hardly believe a gun that will function to begin with would be made to fail just because of rain.

Every handgun class I have ever taken, the handgun spends far more time in the holster than being fired. Think about it, you all know it is true for a day long class. But the rainy days are why my handguns are all waxed with auto wax.

To answer the next question, I have used both leather and polymer holsters and both performed well.
