Westforth and Blythes of VALPO get my vote.... Westforth is family type atmosphere and they will work with you. I may or may not have purchased a weapon type thing from Blythes in Valpo... the Griffith store didnt have the gun I wanted and qouted me $200 more than the Valpo store which had it in STOCK the SAME day....

While the valpo & griffith stores both care the Blythes name it appears they are run by different parts of the "blythes" family and do their own thing. From what I have seen the vaplo store has better prices (lower) than griffith, but the griffith store have a nice/bigger selection of used weapons.

Jerry's in rensellaer is a nice place. Small qty stock but great prices. He's very fair on everything he has in there.

Jerry's has a decent inventory for most buyers. He too was wiped out in the "Obama Scare", but is slowly getting back. I bought one there and would not hesitate to buy again. Nice guy, knows his stuff, has a couple of older, crusty dudes who like to hang out and chat. His long guns are well priced, used as well as new.
Blythes in Griffith just remodeled, so go look around.
    Good Luck.
