The reason why small shops will go under is because they can't buy in large quantities AND pay for store front overhead like Buds and others. A business has to adapt to the customer and the culture. As an example if you refuse or can't aquire your customers the use of debit as way of payment then don't complain when you can't get folks in your store. We all know that online for sales is where it's at. It's convenience for the consumer and smart business model. Instead of investing in a store front, buy more at lower cost so you can sell at lower cost than the guy with a store front. Why go against what the majority do and charge higher prices? Then expect to make it.
