Anyone know how big this show is? Worth an hour drive?

It all depends, and I hate to say it this way. Some of the shows there have been really good, with a lot of firearms and reloading stuff, as well as knives for the knife folk. And some of the shows there have been, shall I say, less than stellar.

Of course finding that one firearm that you have been wanting for years would make the show a great one for you, while someone who walks out with nothing would say the show stunk.

Personally I usually drive 3/4 of an hour to get there.

It is hit & miss for me, mostly miss. Last 3 times I was there went through it in about 45 minutes, saw the same stuff I saw the other 2 times. Prices were higher than I thought they should be. But if you find something you are looking for then I suppose it would be worth your time. I may go, but I am not an hour away.

I have a buddy coming into town to go gun shopping Saturday anyways. I guess it would be a fun trip to just go check it out regardless.

A little over 130 tables, the floor will be full. A couple dealers that I don't think have done this show before as well as a few that haven't been here in awhile will be there.

As with all the other gun shows I've been to as long as they are unloaded you can.

Management encourages you to bring guns in to sell/trade. They will be checked to make sure they are unloaded and strapped.

Been there too many times only to be disappointed. Don't waste the time or money.

It's a hoot. I drove an hour.to get here, and it wasn't wasted time. Lots of old stuff, as usual. A few good prices, lots.of crazy prices, lots of "ancillary " products.

Sold a couple guns. Wife got to feel quite a few guns to consider for a carry option. She settled on an LCR. I couldn't believe how much smoother the trigger was on it than the low end smith and Wesson's that we tried. All in all, it was worth it for us because we accomplished what we set out to do.

I took 4 items, walked around for an hour to check prices/compare. Went back through and traded all 4 items...I left with 5 things I needed. I call that a successful day

Had a good time. Bought a Smith model 63 and sold an 1891 Argentine rifle. Might go back tomorrow.
