Just like any technology in its infancy, there are still some links to work out. Just like what happened with that one 'useless' Internet.

Can any government ban something that's everywhere?

The key files - the AR lower and 30 round magazines - are freely downloadable at the link I provided earlier. I'm sure all the supporters of the Second Amendment on INGO have downloaded them and sent them to all their friends. (Purple?) Even without our help the information will survive King Barak the First and Baroness Frankenstein. John "Cash And Vacations For Influence" McCain and his evil clones can stab Lady Liberty in the back all they want, the information will survive.

The printers used to cost tens of thousands of dollars. Products have been prototyped using 3D printing for years. Finally the machines can be had, rudimentary to be sure, for as little as $500. The technology will continue to evolve as the price continues to drop.

The point of this project is not to run Bushmaster or Magpul out of business, but to tell the government, no, you will not take these things away. If Ruger can't survive this they probably shouldn't.

Even if you never do anything with them, download the files. You don't have to limit yourselves to begging for bones from politicians who will ignore you anyway.
