A Saiga AOW would be nigh on impossible, since virgin Saiga receivers or Saigas without buttstocks are not available. You'd have to build the receiver from scratch.

Not to mention getting the action to cycle would be difficult.

That being said, if you bought or borrowed one, and owned a CNC machine, it could be done.

It's just a matter of shortening/relocating the gas system and opening the ports. Just think, if we lived in a state that allowed SBS, we wouldn't even need to be talking about AOWs and could have this:

Yes, Now THAT is killer! I don't understand why we can carry a loaded suppressed machinegun down teh street, but can't be trusted with something like that bad boy!

This thread has blown my mind. I was under the impression that a gun that fired shot shells and was shortened below set minimums was illegal, period (in IN).

Now I've got a new outlook on getting one of those tiny little monsters!!
