    Nice rifle. Do you have to leave the state to hunt deer with it? (I've always heard "no rifles" for deer in Indiana, but then I see things like this that make it sound like pistol-caliber rifles are okay....)
    Rifles firing pistol cartridges have been legal in Indiana for two years now!:rockwoot:

    How did this set up work for you? I'm leaning toward the 357 due to price of bullets and the option to shoot 38spl in it for plinking with the kids, but I have heard great things about the 44.

    It looks like a sweet set up. I've also heard some great things about the Ruger 77/44 and waiting for mine to come in. I'd recommend running some Hornady Leverevolution 225 grain rounds through it. They have great accuracy and perfect for deer within 100yds.
