Reliability was a talking point. The guy from Federal got the most air time speaking to this using a variety of ammo. Also "inexpensive trainer"

I think this is is genius. (Besides the fact that I called for just this. ;))

Its the same Glock as others. MSRP will be similar, won't it?

Glock doesn't need to do higher capacity though. In today's day and age, they can leave higher capacity for the aftermarket to fuss with.

Then you'll use your Glock mags when you want the gun to run and the fun sticks when you can afford to roll the dice?

Ten round mags are idiotic. You could realistically fit damn near 50 in there.

Haven't seen all the specifics but generally it is due to the rimmed case of the 22LR rimfire and wanting to go single stack for reliability. Of course, Taurus found how to make it work with a staggered or doublestack mag, so you'd think Glock could have also done so.

If I didn't already own a variety of .22 firearms, I would consider looking at this G44. I don't need/want another at this time nor am I in the 'fanboy' category. Now, who's going to pick one up and let me shoot it to try it out? ;)

    Glock.....FAIL!!!

I love the gun. I hate the magazine capacity. WTF? Who thought a 10 round magazine was an acceptable idea when Taurus and Kel-Tec have 16 round and 33 round offerings??? Man....I want to like Glock but they keep pulling this *** acting like they are pushing designs. Legendary? I think not.

Yeah, a crappy 10rd .22. So how many of us are feeling like Ralphie sitting in the bathroom with his decoder ring right about now?
