Most rags have little credibility on reviews. No one's going to PO an advertiser or risk going the way of that ill-advised guy who wrote the dumb piece on the "reasonable limits' of the 2A or whatever it was.

It's really not polite to read peoples minds, but you are exactly right.

The .380's that I have held, I didn't like the size of the grip. I couldn't imagine trying to use those guns as a "shooting" gun like my G19 and G26 is.

Maybe the G42 was made that size to be a .380 "shooting" gun?

I think that is exactly what is going on.

Yep. From what I'm reading on M4carbine, the guys that have already shot the G42 love it. They say it's a much better shooter than any other .380. But, they are disappointed it's not a 9mm.

For me, I'm not a huge fan of pocket carry. But I am keeping an open mind on this one. I can't wait to hold one and shoot it. It could quite possibly be my first .380.

I EDC a G26, but sometimes I do wish I had a slightly smaller gun. This G42 may be it, at least until a 9mm comes out.
