88GT: Thank you for your post. It has revealed your views on the subject and what your backings are, as opposed to some YouTube videos that have little to do with the actual meat of the subject: Racism at the current Planned Parenthood.
As far as trying to convince me: Read my posts before hand: I am against abortion. What I am also against however are people trying to make laws banning abortion or other "bedroom" things, such as marriage and similar. I think abortion is a horrifyingly violent and despicable act, but it is not my choice to make whether things should be banned or not. I believe and will have a go at anyone who tried to lay a hand on me or anyone I know in regards to laws governing my body.
Rambone and I argue constantly regarding vaccinations and etc..., our viewpoints are different and our approaches are FAR different, but one thing we will agree on is we will fight any government MANDATE that violates my or his or anyone's right to choose, whether it be vaccination or abortion. If anything, I owe him a HUGE favor for calling my attention to the "Silent Scream" video. Never since high school have I felt strongly about anything, but that feeling is tempered by my need for and strive to gain individual liberty.
Where does life start? That is up to the individual to decide. Of course we have common sense situations, such as the 4 year old that you had mentioned (while I love kids, sometimes when they run amok...
Naw, just kidding...). But when the child is unborn, to me, it's still in the hands of the individual. Free will, liberty and choice. People can argue about where this begins or that starts all day long. There are arguements on both sides. I choose individual liberty over collective liberty. Snide and crass, yes, arrogant, definitely. But something ingrained into me that cannot be changed by any arguement.
Back to my weekly "PO Rambone until he wants to kill me" fun: I am still waiting for evidence that the modern Planned Parenthood is racist! C'mon man! Lie to me!
