Just a heads up, Walmart doesn't carry hoolowpoints because, and I quote, "it's designed for killing."

The one near me does... I noticed recently that the Walmart in Plainfield actually had a lot more ammo than usual. I believe they had several varieties of JHP in stock.

Policy must be changing. 6 months ago I couldn't buy 9mm JHP ammo at the Noblesville Walmart but the Fishers Walmart (I-69 and 96th street) had Winchester PDX for roughly $25 for a box of 20. About 3 months ago I started seeing the Fishers Walmart carrying Remington 9mm JHP target rounds, a box of 100 for roughly $30. Last month I started seeing the 100 box of 9mm Remington JHP target round for roughly $30 in the Noblesville Walmart. Just a week or 2 ago I started seeing Federal Hydra Shock 9mm JHP rounds for roughly $20 for a box of 20.

There is not a huge selection, but the Walmart stores near me seem to be getting better about carrying JHP in at least 9mm.

Your next Glock needs to be a 22. Then you can carry the 22 IWB and the 27 in your pocket. Carry one clip for the 22, because it will work in your 27 also.

I carry a G30 in my pocket most of the time, but if I'm going somewhere I feel I need more fire power I carry a G21 on a hip holster and one clip for the 21, because the clip will work in both guns.

IMO this is a good system, main gun, back-up and a clip or two that works in both.

Congrats. I love my 23 and 19. I prefer Crossbreed for IWB, long term carry is very comfortable. I make my own OWB, stronger and just as secure as the Serpa.

CB super tuck is well worth the investment if you looking for an IWB holster. Life time warranty; plus if you get any other Glock in 40 or 9mm it will fit.

I use a Fobus paddle holster for my G26. In general I like paddle holsters because of the "easy on, easy off" aspect. IWB holsers are a bit easier to conceal, but if you go that route be sure to select one with a reinforced opening. IWB holsters with non-reinforced openings will collapse as soon as you draw, making it difficult to reholster.

just put a glock 27 on layaway.. excited to get it here in a couple weeks! I'm getting the Gen 3 version and i'm pretty stoked since right now i only have a keltec p32 to shoot and carry.

I've been doing holster researching, looking for a relatively inexpensive iwb holster as well as a owb holster that will hold the pistol pretty close to my side.

excited to join the glock family!

MIC universal by glocktech, YouTube it. Got mine in a couple days ago, been wearing my G19 for 12 hrs a day since with no discomfort. $18 plus shipping and handling.
