Cabela's deal noted above with $0.01 shipping is not a bad deal. I got 150 rounds of .22lr for $13.35 shipped - $0.089/round. My cutoff for buying online, with shipping, is ten cents a round (and even that is grudgingly and rare). Have to buy one Cabela's branded item to get the penny shipping, the lure was the least expensive thing I found.

Just came from Rural King in Evansville and they have the 124g 9mm Aguila for $13.99 a box. I have shot a few hundred of these with no issues.

US 31 South Walmart generally has a pretty poor selection of ammo. If you are in the area it's worth stopping by - you may get lucky - but I would not make a special trip for it. I live about 15 minutes from there. In the last year I've purchased some 20ga and 12ga slugs, 2 boxes of 9mm, and one box of 45 acp. I'm sure they've had .22lr at some point, but I have *never* seen it on the shelves.

Yesterday afternoon Wally World in Brownsburg had a lot in stock EXCEPT 9mm and 22lr. Lots of 40SW and 45 though. Loads of .223 and 12 gauge.

Dicks sporting goods in Avon got in a pile of 22lr. I got the last bucket of 1400 Remington's. They still have 500rd boxes of Rem Thunderbolts for $24.99. Limit one box/day. Monday they had 15 cases of 10 boxes each. They still had plenty yesterday when I swung by and picked up a box. Heading back today in a couple hours for another box.

old reports of bad leading scared me away from Thunderbolts a while back but I got some last year since that's all there was. I've gone through about 1200 rounds in three different 22's without any issues.
