    If it had been, you wouldn't have gotten it back, would you? Wouldn't it be tied forever to criminal evidence in some legal proceeding?
    I would presume that if it had been tied to a crime it would still be in an evidence locker.

    You might want to take a minute to actually read through the thread. Or at least look at the date of the original post.

    It says "I get to pick up my gun tomorrow" and it's almost 2 weeks old. Hmm, I wonder if there might possibly be an update in the more than 100 subsequent posts?

    Happy ending gives me hope that there is still justice in the world. Back where she belongs!! Now, if I can only get back that Jennings .22 that was stolen from me in 1993. Not sure it will be worth the cost to park downtown.
