Look the homosexuals want to force you to accept them, to love them. That is why they always have signs saying ACCEPTED when they win a court case or an election. it is about you loving them.

As for pot, as long as pot is given over to big tobacco so that it can be regulated and taxes like tobacco, I have no problem.

(When morality collapses in a society, whatever is legal is generally viewed as OK.)

Yeah, and looking to the .gov and it's laws to tell us what's "moral" makes sooooo much sense:rolleyes:

It is not, nor should it ever be the government's job to legislate what is moral and what is not. Do we really want the scumbags in DC deciding what is and isn't "moral"?

I agree that our society as a whole is in a moral decline. But this is judged from my perspective and believe it or not, I've been wrong before.

so pot is now legal in some states, but soda is illegal in NY if it's greater than 16oz? Priorities people, priorities!

A clear representation of how we need bipartisanship in regards to this important topic......everyone knows you cannot cure cannabis induced cottonmouth with merely 16 oz of Diet Mt Dew!!

The taxation of pot will generate a hell of a lot of revenue for the state, not to mention the offset of dollars saved for dragging kids through the judicial system for getting caught with a joint in the car.

This election brought to you by Taco Bell, light up a fatty, and run for the border.

Or maybe homosexuals possibly just want to be treated like human beings with some sort of rights by the ultra religious that tries to force their views on the rest of society...

    legislating morality needs to stop.

However, anyone that thinks Democrats represent freedom needs to do their homework, since big government, mire laws, taxes, and regulations is the opposite if freedom, even if they support TOKEN issues like gay "marriage".

Here's the thing. Both ideologies, liberal and conservative, contain some pro-liberty planks and some anti-liberty planks. It literally is a "pick your poison" scenario. Reasonable people can disagree about which side is more authoritarian.

The side that talks about protecting civil liberties, also favors Marxist redistributive economic policies and high taxation.

The side that talks about protecting our paychecks, also favors a police state through the tyrannical Drug War and War on Terror.

I can't fault either side for disliking the other. (Communists and Fascists never get along.)

The irony is that the few pro-liberty planks on either side seem to disappear as you follow the Establishment hierarchy to the top. That's why we see candidates for president with the exact same records.

Tobacco is already over taxed. You let tobacco growers handle the marijuana and it will be too expensive and people will still grow their own and the government will still have it's war on illegal marijuana.

The states that approved marriage equality and marijuana legality expanded liberty and freedom. This was a win/win for the electorate. The gop had better start looking at them because that's the future. More freedom is always a winner.

Not when you're stuck in the 50's pandering to the remaining 20% of your base on the religious far right.
And that's one of the main reasons that Obamney lost. And why they will continue to lose if they don't change their ways. It's the 21st century. They need to start acting like it.

This post is the clear winner in today's election, taking all 538 electrical votes.

The reality isn't keeping up with the image here. Certain elements have managed to have the issue of liberty constrained within the framework of what you're smoking and who you're f**king. That is not the substance of liberty. Why not try a return to constitutional government (which neither side of the duopoly has any intention in the universe of doing)?

Why limit yourself to what constitutes liberty and freedom? Marriage equality and an end to the war on pot are just two facets of the myriad issues out there. Anytime you expand freedom in any direction is a good day. The good people of these states repudiated the anti-freedom crowd and expanded liberty in their states. They done good! We could all learn from them. As for a return to Constitutional rule, do you honestly see ether wing of the BOYN Party doing that in your lifetime? It's a dead certainty that the gop won't have it. They more than proved that at their convention. There's no interest by anyone in DC to return to the constraints of the Constitution.
