I remember back about this time when Rush also came up with the "Deficit Spending Awareness Ribbon", where you folded a Dollar bill in the same shape as these ribbons to show that "you care more about the deficit" than other people.

I made one and pinned it to my shirt with my NRA Life Member pin.
