Which Aimpoint is that? I've got to make a choice on optics before too long and reading everything I can is only making it worse.

Picked up the Aimpoint Micro 2MOA I've been saving for from Acme Sports. Ended up with a T1 for the price of an H1 :D

Ordered a Daniel Defense base, wanted a semi-permanent mount for it. I'm taking a little different approach with this build by running only the red dot with no flip-up BUIS. I have a set of DD fixed sights I will zero and 1/3 co-witness and remove from the gun.

I also have a Battlecomp 2.0 coming in (last payday) that I bought at the end of their sale.

I think this is just about done and everthing I wanted, will get it all assembled, zeroed and get with N_K_1984 for a some kind of paint job :D

I could probably do just about anything I set my mind on. Now, mind you, most of my paint jobs are just simple rattle can.

This is my painted AR. The one, I'm sure JT is referring to when he desires a paint job. My other two AR's are plain, black, and evil; the way the Good Lord intended them...

You'll have to look close. It's not easy to see in the pictures, but there are intricate details in the paint job, albeit rattle can. It may not look like much, but it was time consuming and a lot attention went into the seemingly random scheme. While rifle is definitely a workhorse, it is still my little tribute to our brave men and women who serve this great nation.
