Maybe that’s true. But I don’t think it’s all that Arizonans’ ethos has changed. The electorate has largely changed hands. Younger more progressive voters are voting. And people are fleeing from California.

This. People are fleeing California and f' ing up everyplace they go.

The Arizona call is accurate. No way Trump wins that. Arizona is a blue state now.

6 hours later it is. At the time they were playing games, delaying calls for the President, and making projection calls for Biden. It was an overall media strategy by the compact of 7 media companies that social media declared were the only arbiters of the winner. It appears to be working as they planned. This just supports the purpose of the thread, to let people know this is not the conservative FOX News they knew back when Roger Ailes ran it, that is gone, and they are just part of the liberal media cabal.

I assumed it was immigrants and old AARP voters.

Is there any data on that?

I would assume the folks feeling would be more conservative, i.e. the ones that want out of that madness.

You'd like to think that. But they still vote the same way. My evidence is anecdotal based on conversations with friends or family in Arizona, Texas, and Idaho.

It is odd to me and sounds like many of us that this does not happen. They just do not see that correlation of the bad they are fleeing and what they voted for.

Or maybe it is the old socialism trope, it just hasn't been done right yet...

It seems to me that in general, liberal voters are more concerned with the stated good intentions of a particular policy while ignoring the potential bad results. Thus, they don’t really see a connection between the poor results versus the good intentions of their previous voting.

People talk about it enough. Has it not piqued your curiosity to find out? Yes. California flight is real.

About who is moving, I'm not sure there are statistics on that. Ben Shapiro moved. He calls himself a conservative. Joe Rogan moved. He calls himself a progressive.

Issues that cause people to move out: Homeless people living and ****ting on side walks, ridiculous tax rates, absurd laws, leaders refusing to stop BLM rioting/violence/looting/arson, extraordinary covid restrictions, to name a few.

You don't have to be a conservative or a Republican to notice that your state has become a **** hole. I think even Alpo would move.

Yeah, I know they're moving, I'm just not sure if those that moved overwhelmingly vote Dem.

It should be clear by now.
    FOX News hates their audience.

Last night’s election coverage on FOX News was a travesty. They withheld Florida and Texas for hours until California was called so President Trump would never hold the lead.

Then FOX and the other election outlets refused to call states that would narrow Biden’s path.

On Breitbart radio this morning the topic came up "what the hell has happened to Fox News". Apparently they were disappointed by FNC's election coverage

Heh, the pox is in the hen pen.
Because of knowing the ownership and control of the infotainment corporations I don't bother with them. Well, except the weather channel when a hurricane is coasting in on loved ones but even then there are much better information sources.

While Fox has employed some conservative personalitirs, the network never was really conservative. They offered an alternative where you aren't constantly getting molested with leftist propaganda and stirred the pot for ratings but consistently avoided the bedrock conservatism that would inform the general population of the dangers of leftism or what the republic is and how it is supposed to work. They even paid homage to the falsehood that the country is a democracy.

Yes. It was not a good look for FNC. I'm not sure what or who they are trying to be but they definitely are not catering to their core audience. Very sad.

You were done earlier-smart. I'm done now. Tucker, Hannity, F&F, SR to name my top 4. Need to have more Donna Brazilles and Chris Coons. :yesway:

I hope their advertisers-who help may those large salaries are listening. Who was it that said something to the effect 'ash heap of history'???

I understand and agree with people's disgust, but there is considerable difference between the news division and Tucker/Hannity/etc. Be careful of throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I do believe that long-term, they will end up migrating off of Fox as they are some of the biggest draws there and need Fox less than Fox needs them.

Just as I feared when Roger Ailes left, Fox News has moved left. Once the most balanced news reporting of any media out there the handing over of control to the sons has accelerated the movement.

It it was annoying when people would say that Fox is right wing because they have some conservative opinion/editorial shows. Their hard news coverage has been fair consistently. Their crime in left circles is allowing conservative opinion at all, and for that they are called right wing.

Are others seeing eking the same thing?

This is to original post in the thread. Since then dozens of individual items evidencing this have been posted. The recent elections just the latest.
