OK, in Minneapolis, they have to prepay the second half property taxes to get a demolition permit. This is not new, nor is it common.

In other words, Minneapolis was leftist and anti-business before this mess and simply remains so.

I've never actually dealt with one...I just hear the horror stories.

I was on the board of one of those years ago. I mainly got on there to keep things sane. Like Jedi said, a lot of Karens. Busy bodies who think you should do everything the way they do it. And they tend to like increasing dues.

We have over 800 homes in ours. The Board of directories is more than happy to say, "Paint it whatever color you want." or, "talk to you neighbor and sort it out yourself."

"We want the streets plowed for every snowflake! We want security patrols! We want the tennis courts repaired!"
Fine. Then make sure you vote in favor of a dues increase.
