Good. Their political leaders are more responsible than any rioter for the damage done.

You don't get to throw gasoline on the fire and then have everyone else pay to fix it. F*** 'em hard.

Thank god for trump. Don’t give them a single cent. They let this run wild, they can pay for the consequences. My money better not pay a damn thing for that.

If you want to read to read more about how Governor Walz and Mayor Frey failed the people of Minneapolis, you might want to read this 4pg report from ThinkingMinnesota:

Special Report: Surrender! How Minneapolis voluntarily relinquished its streets to a mob of vandals, thieves and arsonists.

George Floyd’s death was bound to provoke a strong reaction, especially as relations between police and African Americans have been particularly fraught in recent years. The peaceful protests that followed saw people exercising their rights under the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. Authorities should protect that constitutional right as doggedly as any other. It is an indispensable part of a free country.

But these protests were shoved off the front pages by four nights of violence in the Twin Cities that spread across the country and even across the planet.

So basically the mayor was a whimp that was too afriad to take action against the rioters. The people vote for him. Elections has consequences. Rebuild your city and remove him if you want. But dont ask the nation for help. It's a local problem that they should have dealt with.

The problems in minneapolis won't be fixed by throwing Federal fix-the-buildings money at them. They run much deeper than that and they won't be fixed fast or easy. It would be a complete waste of money to give them a dime.

Time for the reality of their decisions to remain until they decide to make different decisions.

    Winners.

Not a cent. NADA. You all voted these idiots into power now deal with that decision.

The article states, it would include losing 100 percent of the 4th quarter funding.
How the he'll do you do that?
    No police pay?
    No vehicle maintenance or gas?
    No insurance?

Seattle just voted to reduce the police budget 50%

Oops. Maybe I got ahead of myself.
    Can't find the vote.
    But I found this.
    https://mynorthwest.com/2010212/seattle-council-veto-proof-majority-defund-police-50-percent/

7 of 9 council members support it.

    Seattle will eat itself.
