    Clean your firearm today!

Seriously, if you haven't done it this month, it's time. Knock those dust bunnies out of your holster, too.

    Be safe.

The first rule of cleaning your gun is to get another gun out of the safe and load it and put it in the holster!

Nothing like getting your house robbed and not being able to do anything because you were cleanning your gun:dunno:

I just take the G17 into the shower with me...
A little shampoo and conditioner and she's good to go.
She does not however like it when I grab the razor.:dunno:

I keep a Pen brush on me. Well, it's more the size of a permanent marker... Either way it has hard bristles and soft bristles on each end respectively. I've noticed that everyday dust settles in under the hammer, in the grooves on the back of my grip, on the edges of the ejection port, bottom of the mag, and generally all over the slide.

Is it considered anal to clean it off every night before I go to bed? I always clean my BDE after every trip to the range anyway. Not a severe cleaning, but a good cleaning. I run a couple patches through the barrel and clean the insides but since it's polymer I'm not sure about using the spray cleaner stuff.

Oh and it won't matter if you unload the glock or not. It'll still combust the dishwasher when it heats up! :D
