The president is just a performer for you to get mad at. An entertainer. He'll do his tricks for a few years and then he'll be replaced by another. Americans get to feel empowered that they had their voice heard.

The ironic part is that in every regard Obama is just a continuation of the status quo; the inevitable downward spiral that was set in motion long ago. He has presided over the same old cronyism, welfare state, diminishing freedoms, bailouts, and war. Not to mention personal elitism. Its all been done before. "But Bush" posts are to give people -- especially GOP partisans -- some of that lost perspective. They obviously missed a lot of these same outrages during the last presidency.

America has serious problems, but instead of focusing on the big picture, people are captivated by Obama's salutes, how he says the pledge, and whether he wears a flag pin. IMO these are intentional distractions to keep potential opponents and activists neutralized. Go ahead and stew about something trivial while the agenda moves forward unopposed.

^^^this^^^ left, right, left, right, march to the death of the republic.

I have serious issues with Obama, this ain't one of them. Time to move on to something that matters.
    Tru Dat.

Besides...when it comes to dissing the military, it's not about drinking a latte or carrying a dog.
The bottom line is that our men and women in the military KNOW that their current "commander" does NOT have their best interests at heart. He cuts their benefits and declines their salary increases while taking extravagant vacations for himself. His own wife (in her own words) was never "proud of this country" until he showed up on the ballot...well, whoopty friggen dooo (finally, something for her to be proud of America for!!)

Drink your latte, hold your dog, salute or don't salute... none of that talk amounts to a hill of beans when the real and true way you view your country and your fellow countrymen is revealed by your daily walk!
Because you stand or you don't when the Anthem is played or the Colors pass by, doesn't factor whether I'll think you're a Patriot. How you treat our Vets, our Memorials, and our sacred days of Remembrance WILL.
