That one has my interest, but i wonder how much suppression you give up.

I've done a lot of research trying to figure that out. Best I found from unscientific testing via YouTube was just over 140 db to the shooters ears on a 16" 5.56. On anything shorter (10") or a 308, I think it's still gonna be pretty loud.

Figured. As cool as it would be to have such a shortie can, I think I'll be going the Sandman-S route when it's time.

Since this has turned into a "which .30 can to get" thread (which is convenient since I just put in the paperwork for a Q El Camino rimfire can and want a .30 next), what about the Griffin Paladin? That one is high on my list right now. That and the Q Thunder Chicken have bumped the Omega down on my list.

Just got word. My can has been paroled from ATF jail. I will be picking her up this afternoon. It’s like Christmas in July.
