Expected a few handguns but not 16! Have been told the Ruger Bearcat, SD Sheriff 357, and the Beretta model 71 are the picks of the litter. What can anyone tell me about any more of these?1000000569.jpg1000000568.jpg1000000567.jpg1000000566.jpg1000000565.jpg1000000564.jpg1000000563.jpg1000000562.jpg1000000561.jpg1000000560.jpg

As Kelly said, HG11 appears to be a mid to late 90s Smith and Wesson 66 revolver in .357 Magnum. Probably the finest gun, based on a SUPER fast glance. A fine revolver - lots of people still fans of this gun.

Just realized I don't have a pic of the bearcat, and I'm down with a torn achilles as of yesterday so not going to try to get back to the garage on my crutches just to take one. Pretty sure it's the middle one of these. 1000000571.jpg

I've got that problem. Lost the combination probably 30 years ago. I'm sure there's a .25 auto in there and some coins and collectibles. Should probably do something about that...

The taurus, is an early PT99 AF. Built on the original Beretta tooling and machines, for the Brazil contract.

Serviceable gun, triggers are kind of sucky.

Downside to the PT99 is the adjustable rear sight version. Parts are scarce as hens teeth and the leaf blade has a tendency to fracture.

    Bryco!!!!?
That thing is a lawsuit waiting to happen!
The Taurus revolver looks to be a model 66, or similar, and should be a serviceable firearm.
The PT99 is a solid gun.
I have 2 of them and despite the hate by some, these tend to run well and eat most any ammo.

    As had been stated, #11 is a S&W Model 66, probably -4. Nice gun. I have it's twin. That one's a keeper.

#13, Mid-size Taurus revolver (Model 82?) in .38 Special, probably serviceable.

#22 Taurus Beretta clone, by all accounts pretty good guns

The Beretta model 71 is nice.

The rest is pretty much garbage. Some might work (Hi-point #12, S&W 9VE #19) but be pretty rudimentary, others might blow up in your hand. Find a gun buyback and trade that stuff in for gift cards!

What you have here OP, is a very fine set of potential police dept gun buyback fodder. Find you a gun buyback handing out $100 walmart gift cards and take all these in to be melted.
For real. A lot of these are unironically trash guns with not even a minimal argument for preservation.

I'd be kind of mad in OP's shoes honestly.
