Jennings, Bryco, Davis Industries...were all the same company, manufacturing p.o.s. handguns out of a strip mall in California back in the 1980's and '90's.I have a Jennings J-22 similar in design to that Bryco .380, and when you shoot it with ammo it doesn't like, the slide flies off.
At one point atf found multiple handguns walking out the back door WITHOUT serial numbers!
I think that was the straw that broke the camels back.
Before that they would produce trash handguns that often came apart or blew up.
Lawsuits followed so what to do?
Change the name and continue making trash...
Rinse and repeat until the feds shut them down for good.
