Interesting AP article in the paper today simply whitewashes the whole thing. Uses a 08 Brookings Institution study that says 2K guns cross the border each day from the US to Mexico as the foundation fact of the story. The article uses comparisons between the amount of guns authorized to cross over during the investigation against the 2000 guns crossing daily as a small amount needed to build the case.

Well, the people over at CBS have been busy little bees. Looks like the ATFU's Gun Walking program may have been in place since 2008. They've been arming the cartels for some time now. Wonder if we could turn these critters over to the Mexican authorities as accomplices to numerous murders?

And it looks like Grassley is asking for an independent investigation of ATFU. He, (along with any other sane people out there) has no faith in DoJ to investigate themselves.
