Favorite Tactical Pants

I have a couple of pair of the LAPG Operator pants. They are very good pants for the price, and well built. My only complaint is the pockets are a little small. If you carry a wallet in the front pocket, there isn't much more room for your cell phone or keys in that same pocket.


As far as looking too much like a mall ninja like, the pants actually look pretty much like a regular pair of cargo pants. The nice thing is they are gusseted for better mobility, and make great work pants for yardwork, etc.


Of course suplus BDU's are also a good thing, but wearing camo is going to draw a bit more attention if you are trying to be descrete while walking around at Bed Bath and Beyond, etc. Now if you are a Wal-Mart, Lowes, or Home Depot you're ok.

I like to think of my pants as more "Strategic" than tactical as they are essential to my strategy keeping my legs and private parts from being exposed to the rest of the world.

I have the 5.11 Station pants.... the fireman pants and our do not seem to fade near as bad as the "cop" pants. They are hands down the most comfortable pair of pants I have ever worn and I will go as far to say if I could only choose one style pants to wear the rest of my life these would be it.
