I voted for the 75 HPBT only because it is the bullet I load the most. In a 80 shot match, I shoot 66 rounds of 75 BTHP at 200 and 300 yards and 22 rounds of 75 AMAX at 600 yards.

Just the way it goes. No favorites, just the right bullet for the application.

If you can stabilize it and fit in in your mag the 75 AMax is the ticket.

I am about to go on an AR binge and the way to go there is the 62 TSX, for killing stuff anyway.

For general plinking 55gr Hornady FMJBT in both my Remington 700 and Mini's. For accuracy 53 gr Hornady HP match.

I haven't had much success with 55 FMJ on the range. You care to share your recipe? Im using an AR with 1:8 twist.

My Ar has a 1:9 twist
    LC brass
Mil surplus primers(pulled from .30 carbine)
    Surplus powder Wc844 is 24g and WC846 is 24.9
Bullets are surplus 55g FMJ pull downs seated to fit the mag

I've had good luck with AA2015 and 55 FMJ in my savage 10FP but I don't remember the charge weight.

Probably shoot 55gr FMJ the most, but have been having good luck w/ the 52 gr HPBT lately, so that's what I picked.

I use whatever I can afford without breaking my bank. I bought my last in a bulk package of 1,000 and they are all loaded. Remy 55 gr FMJ and I have 500 of the 62 gr hp as well.

I voted 69gr matchkings because they can do anything you need done with a 223. You really start to pay more for the bullets once you get any heavier than the 69gr matchkings and that why they're my favorites.
