Favorite 1911?

What is everyone's favorite 1911?

I'm favoring Springfield Armory, but I haven't heard much about the Remington one that just came out.

I've heard good things about colt, I have never heard anything about the glock 1911's and I have never heard about Wilson

Having only owned a 1911 (RIA) for 3 months I have to say it is my favorite. But I do find myself drooling over those from SA, Les, STI and Wilson. Just have not shot them and don't have funds to get one right now.

WE have Springfield's/Colts/Para Ordinance/S&W and love each and every one for what they are.

I dont know if I have a favorite. I have a hard time deciding which one to take to the range when I go. I guess my favorites are the Colts, Dan Wesson Springfield and Fusions. maybe a couple others as well

I've thought about this for quite a while and logic tells me it's a Kimber Custom plain jane full size.
I've got a lot of rounds through it with never a fail since I bought it new, it's as accurate as any gun I own, the plain dark finish is durable making it a perfect EDC gun.
I always seem to stick it in the holster when I get out of bed. That's my logic as to my favorite 1911

Im new to 1911s but the ones i like the best so far are the Colt talo commander or the Springfield full size stainless loaded. Dont know which one i want to get yet.

This one is nice.

A Commander length barrel with a bobed tail, not just my favorite 1911, but my idea of the ideal all purpose gun ( such that there really is such a thing anyway)

I have limited experience, but I really like my Kimber 1911 ultra carry II tactical. Shoots great and is compact for carrying.

Really like my Springfield Loaded Combat two tone, Love my Colt 100 years of service model but since this is my latest acquisition, i'm really diggin' it!

The Sig Fastback Nightmare - just something about the all black with silver controls and the fastback grip. Not to mention it has the forged frame and slide and tightly fitted components and G10 grips. Sig has come a long way ....
