I remember seeing an interview many years ago with a soviet Mig25 pilot who was sent to intercept a Blackbird. He described the encounter in great detail, and at the end of his story he said he told his superiors the Soviet Union would never bring down a Blackbird. I've searched youtube for the video, but have had no luck. I'm thinking it may have been on the old Wings show that was on discovery, but cannot find it. It was a fascinating interview.
