I don't condone harming folks, even idiots like these. That said, somehow the message has to be gotten across to rioters that blocking the public roadway is not OK.

Unless I am mistaken, the woman killed in Charlotte, by the white supremacist, was doing this same road blocking to inflict her cause on anyone attempting to use the roadway?

If I'm tracking this Bloomington crap right, a couple IU publications and an IU professor stirred all this crap up? Based on a statement from a synagogue-defacer to the FBI? Which could've meant "liked their vegetables on Facebook"? When the synagogue-defacer was probably dropping every name in the phone book?

At least this IU publication mentioned ANTIFA, and when did statements to the FBI become public information?

The woman who owns that farm has said she’s a member of the Identity Movement, which the press and bat**** crazies say is whit nationalist. However, it’s unclear if they are actually a white nationalist organization. The farm owner claims it’s not. I don’t know if they are or not, but I’m not gonna take the word of people who can’t figure out the difference between conservatives and real ass Nazis.

As far as driving his SUV through the crowd, why is that news? No one got hurt. Some thugs got stood up to by an angry man whose sense left him at least momentarily. And complaining that the protesters were scaring his kids, that’s like holding your kids over a cliff and then blaming the cliff for scaring them. If you don’t want thugs to scare your kids, don’t drive them through a mob-o-thugs.

Anyway, it was worth it at least a little, to see the mob-o-thugs comply with his order to get off the ****ing street.

One other thing. I don’t really like government banning stuff. But part of me would like to see hiding your face during protests like this banned.

Would Bloomington officials please grow a set and stand up to these a-holes. First, you give them a win by canceling the Farmer's Market for two weeks, and now you're letting them march down the street like they own the town. By God, the jackassery needs to stop now!

Sounded to me like the mayor is a kindred spirit with the jackassery, and agrees with the thugs. It’s apparent that there is no set to grow.

    ...Identity Movement...

One of my former bosses and her husband are/were (she's passed away, now) heavily involved in the "christian identity" church. All these things with "identity" in the name are quasi-related. Know how they're related? White Supremacy.

Non-ANTIFA post but this is how this **** is surfacing in every day conversations within IU:

My youngest daughter is a freshman, just moved into the dorms. On her second day on campus, she overheard a black girl talking to an Asian saying: "How do you cope with all of these f***ing white people?" No reply was heard. My daughter has friends of various races and was shocked that this was even a "thing" she would experience first hand, much less on day 2.

When I was growing up, race was never mentioned you simply met people, made friends, had neighbors, coworkers, etc. Race didn't matter. These far left groups and the MSM have creating a racist culture of hate and race shaming.

    Cross posted from Christian thread.

Being Christian is absolutely fascinating and wonderful.
But it occasionally becomes rather too interesting when evil locally gains the upper hand, like when the Jacobins take over.
This wackadoodle looks like the shape of things to come (no apologies to H. G. Wells).

And speaking of Wells, ever read his nonfiction such as Phoenix?

This is a telling comment from a former Gubmint type.

"I wouldn't myself as a professor want to be associated with acts of violence that are attributable to a movement of individuals like Antifa," said Jason Blazakis, a former Director for U.S. State Department specializing in counter-terrorism.Blazakis says when discussing Antifa it is important to note that they are not like other extremist groups as they have no hierarchy and no clear command structure. Nevertheless, the University of Maryland's Global Terrorism Database has linked them to more than 200 incidents worldwide. None of the incidents listed in the database have happened in the United States.
"I would just say if I'm an individual living in Iowa, I'd be more concerned, and I think the statistics bare this out, of being an individual that suffers because of a mass shooting carried out by an individual that may have right-leaning sympathies," said Blazakis.

Jason Blazakis is a terrorism expert who devises strategies to prevent terrorists from gaining access to money and publicity. From 2008-2018, he served as the Director of the Counterterrorism Finance and Designations Office, Bureau of Counterterrorism, U.S. Department of State.

Several years back, BPD sat on their hands while a group of BLM protesters blocked the road in front of the police station and smashed the windshields of cars trying to get through. Very much a case of Portland-style "stand down" order.

The inmates run the asylum here. They could set City Hall on fire and Mayor Hamilton would personally shake their hands and thank them for checking his privilege.

It's all really disheartening. Hamilton has repeatedly whined to the media about how unfair it is that the state stops him from confiscating everyone's guns.

ANTIFA are the far left socialists, and the Neo Nazi's/KKK are the far right socialists. People don't seem to understand both extremes are socialist in ideal. Both need to be shut down as domestic enemies of the constitution.

unpossible. Only white people are racists. I've been told this repeatedly.

    .
Those antifa people looking for action just need to get on the road and go south. Not likely to find any nazis to punch, but plenty of houses in counties like Lawrence, Martin, Orange, and Crawford flying the stars and bars. Maybe they can block their driveways or protest at the local watering holes.;)

I need to see it. It's evident that identity is important to many conservatives, even on INGO. There was a thread recently in which a few people argued in favor of the idea that "identity" is important. I don't really see those who argued such as white nationalists. So I think it's possible to be an identitarian of sorts who happens to be white, and not be a white nationalist. I don't really know anything at all about the "Identity Movement". And I've never heard about this church you're talking about. Are they white nationalists? I still don't know with any certainty.

There is no excuse for that. That statement is racist pure and simple.
