I haven't had any bad experiences, but saw one on Friday. My buddy and I were looking at some holsters, when we hear this further down the table.

Customer: "Did you find a Glock."

Dealer: "Yes, I was about to turn it in."

The man, while shopping for a new holster, accidentally left his Glock at the table and walked away!

After he left, I walked up to the dealer and asked him if he found any more Glocks laying around.

    did they go off?
Ya they went off. Not all at once either, and after waiting a good 2 hrs i went alone to clear the firepit. I had to make sure there were not live shells in the pit because someone else might use it later. And the fire was a decent 2 and a half foot wide and even though the complete box went in intact not all of the shells banged for some reason.

:dunno: Me and kira had a talk about her tail waging but.....

For the first time I met a fellow INGO'er in person on Saturday at the 1500. It was Bill of Rights and he was working the INGO booth. I was nervous for some reason like I was on a blind date or something! He was very cool and good to talk to, I wish I had made it back over there before I left.

I'm surprised you knew he was from INGO. He was very discrete. :D

I am absolutly too embarrassed to talk about what happend to me. Boy did i re-learn a lesson....
If you didn't want to talk about it then you wouldn't have bothered posting this thread...

But since you posted this thread, you, at least subconsciously, want someone to talk you into spilling the beans; perhaps in the hopes that they'll make you feel like it wasn't all that bad...

    Where's the bacon?
Blind date? Dude... :nono: I don't swing that way. :): It was good to meet you, though.

Seriously... I wore the INGO shirt I got at the last show and my INGO Tactical hat because I planned on hanging out there for a while. I did not consider that I was also picking up my fleece, tho, so yeah, I looked like a fanboy. :n00b:  Fortunately, the shirt remained mostly covered by the fleece but still... too much. Next time, I'll show up in stealth mode.

    Blessings,
    Bill

(Hell, who am I kidding? I'll still have an INGO hat on at least.)

I was there on Saturday when a young guy tried to steal some archery stuff of of a table. The owner of the table started going nuts and accusing everyone around that area. Strangely enough the guy who stole the item denied it a few times then he admitted to taking it and gave it back. It was as if he thought he wasn't going to get in trouble be because he gave it back. Pretty much instantly there were 2 un-uniformed police officers there and they had him hand cuffed. Shortly after a group of 4 uniformed officers escorted him out of the building in handcuffs.

    It was intense!

    I'll be back in January

Last year was my first year to the show, and I didn’t realize they were going to ask to see my weapon at the door. I was so nervous, that I discharged a round right through the table that separated the officer from me. 2 hours later, I wake up handcuffed in the back of a squad car wearing a pair of Irish sunglasses, and covered in my own urine. Unfortunately my picture still appears outside of every gun show, with a “no entry allowed” at the top. Fortunately it just says “Anonymous” under the picture. j/k HTH

    What did you do?

I think this is a great lesson for all firearms owners, but especially us old timers! It's all too easy to get lax with safety when being around firearms for several years.

Damn. If that guy would have kept his mouth shut, he would have gotten away with it. No way the cops can do anything if the owner is blaming an entire group of people.

Now, with regards to the OP: If you don't tell us what you did, we will just have to make something up and make fun of you for that!!
