Ok you guys who bought ESEE knives from the Stout Field Gun show post up some pics. PLEASE. :D

As usual, a Big +1 to Knife Lady! Brad's a little pissed at me so I'll have to make it up to him :D

Today I added to the ESEE collection; a Laser Strike and a Candiru. Both are very cool though the sheath for the Candiru is not as "neck-carry friendly" as the ones on the Izula. I may have to check out having Grunt make one for it out of Kydex. The Laser Strike has a nice balance and feels like it's going to be a good all-purpose knife, suitable for skinning as well as moderate camp chores. One other thing about the LS; layered between the slabs is a ferro rod and two pieces of tinder. The slabs are easily removed with a washer that ESEE provides on the lanyard.

    Here's pics as requested:

I picked up my first ESEE today, a tan candiru with scales. I also made a small kydex sheath to carry it in my pocket.

I picked up a Candiru at the show today. I wanted the handle a little thicker, but didn't want the full width that a set of scales would add, so I decided to wrap it in cord. It was looking nice and even until I got to the cross webbing in the handle.

with a scotch bright pad or some very fine steel wool. then apply mineral oil to it and keep it from happening again.

or you can go my route and just use the **** out of it till it's gone lol.
