But I'm an optimist

I was done holding my breath two years ago...I passed out due to lack of oxygen. Then I made the mistake of talking to Shaun Rowen at Blade this past year (June 2012) and he told me they were getting ready to invest in the equipment that was necessary in making a folder, but I'm about out of oxygen again.

Yes, the 3 & 4 have the same size scales/handles. The only difference is the blade length.

Same size scales but the barrels are different lengths due to the 4 being a bit thicker than the 3. No biggie, just keep the barrels with the original knife and you are gtg
