People are finally starting to realize that we've had a culture shift, and not just a political shift.

I hate to say this, but it's true. If only we could start leaning in the RIGHT direction...which is to the right.

It has nothing to do with right or left, R or D. It's about freedom and personal responsibility vs less freedom but hey, the .gov will take care of me. Freedom and personal responsibility will continue lose. It's alternative is just too easy.

I was only slightly jesting when I made my comment. I agree with you. The "American" people are leaning towards socialism when we should really be going for capitalism. Unfortunately most of the people in this country are lazy and don't know the feeling of bringing home a paycheck earned from 40+ hours of hard work. People just want handouts. Even if I qualified for food stamps and welfare, I have too much dignity and self respect to accept any of it.
