Deer season question.

Can you hunt with a muzzleloader during firearm season? Sounds dumb but didn't know if you could use one outside of muzzleloader season. Why don't we have a hunting forum on here?

Firearms Season: a deer firearms, deer license bundle, bonus antlerless, resident youth hunt/trap, lifetime comprehensive hunting, or lifetime comprehensive hunting/fishing license is required. (Note: a muzzleloader license is not valid during the deer firearms season).

You can also use your bow during both muzzleloader and firearms season

Firearms season requires a firearms license and muzzle loader season requires a muzzleloader license. Or you can purchase a bundled license that will cover both, plus archery.

Every muzzleloader is a firearm but not every firearm is a muzzleloader. So you can hunt with any legal firearms during firearms season (including a muzzleloader) but can ONLY hunt with a muzzleloader during muzzleloader season.

You can hunt all season long with a bow as bow season is from Oct1 until Jan 4th and you only have to buy the archery license for the entire time.
