So, since this thread is actually about republicans and not libertarians, are you going to do anything to stop the likes of Santorum or do you even have a candidate of choice?Maybe you can get Bob Barr to run again.

Like I said, the LP hasn't chosen one, yet. But, it won't surprise me if it isn't Johnson, again...
Nope. I might pull the lever for Johnson, but I have no thought that he could win in this country, as much as the majority from both sides hate liberty. I'd rather see a split ticket with a gop candidate who is at least nominally a liberty based candidate. Paul might possibly fit in that category. Huntsman is acceptable and sane, which is a refreshing change from a majority of the gop candidates last go around. Amash might work out OK in time. And I do see Johnson as a viable candidate. Two term governor of NM and a self made millionaire? Someone who's actually created jobs, which Santorum can't say. Yeah, Johnson's a great candidate and more on the gop side should be looking at him and not at some of the fools they've allowed to run.So you think that Johnson is a viable candidate?
I would think that you would be encouraged by an easy to hate/beat candidate like Santorum running?
Let's see, you would vote for:
2. Was governor of one of the biggest democratic welfare states west of the Mississippi, and left it such.
The fact that so many who hated Ron are fawning over Rand most likely rules him out for me. Who's throwing their hat in?
Nuts don't fall too far from the tree. I think Rand Paul would be a poor choice. His father wanted to legalize heroin.....
Youreally don't have a clue as to what you're talking about. No-one ever vetoed as many bills as he did. He had a deficit when he entered office and left the state with lower taxes and a surplus when he left office. He also managed to decrease the size of government. He, unlike the majority of gop candidates, has actually created jobs, not destroyed them.Let's see, you would vote for:
1. A self-made millionaire (a surefire proletariat-pleaser characteristic, as we've seen), who
2. Was governor of one of the biggest democratic welfare states west of the Mississippi, and left it such.
Wow. Yeah...that's so much better than Romney. In fact, the only thing that could be better, is if he was a Mormon! But I see you already have that angle covered, with your approbation for the "Sane" Mr. Huntsman - who supports Cap and Trade, increase in the Federal Minimum Wage, and presided over 10% increases in state spending while he was Governor of Utah (HUGE Libertarian bona-fides there).
Now I suspect I see the real reason the GOP keeps churning out such an incessant stream of Big Government RINO candidates. They're following MRJarrell's candidate-picking advice.
Judging from the tenor of his posts he'd be satisfied with Santorum. Or Stalin.Grunt, as we all know from your posts and threads you won't be voting for a democrat. We also know you won't be voting for a Libertarian. You have now said you won't be voting for Rand. I'm simply curious about who you support. Who exactly would you like to see elected as president?

Says the man who goes out of his way to point out the problems with Republicans. And even starts threads to do it.Yes. We get it. You don't like L/libertarians. We've heard it all before. Go eat popcorn somewhere else.
