    This whole argument is ridiculous.

The sun will come up when it's supposed to and set when it's supposed to. Jumping a clock up an hour or back an hour won't change it.
Why are you arguing it then? The sun will do what it does, but when we go to work relative to that sun is a political matter.

So, if you want to mess with time, it's okay.

But, if it's someone else's idea, well that's the worst idea ever.
I hope I never have to live on the leading edge of a time zone. The middle of a zone has the most balance but I love my daylight in the evening. Being on the leading edge of CTZ would suck for so many of us. DD might be the only one that would like it.

Doggone right I would! Here it is 5:31 p.m. at the time of this writing and I'm already as buzzed as I would be at 6:31! :lmfao:

Nah. I’m a counterexample. I hate HOA’s but I love having that extra hour of daylight after work. Also, I’m a morning person too. And I hate changing the clocks.
    Hate HOAs +1
    Morning person +1
    Hate changing clocks +1
Love extra hour of daylight artificially created by keeping morning dark nnnt.
    -1

How do you square being a morning person with wanting mornings to be dark for as long as possible?

I somehow doubt that the majority would want 9:00am sunrise in December and a 6:30 sunset. I wouldn’t care but I bet others do. The time change is to balance the daylight as best we can to the normal work day…
Yep, sunrise being at 7:48 tomorrow really seems to balance that work day
