I hadn't heard about the accident until watching the game today. As soon as they showed him on the sidelines I felt like it was a bad decision by the team. I just heard Boomer and the others say the same thing. I hope the NFL steps in and doesn't let it happen again.

I saw that today. And everybody smiling and patting him on the back like he just scored or something. That's bulls**t! He should be sitting in a GD jail cell waiting for trial.

Well, he's supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.

Yes, and when a cop shoots someone, even if it appears to be justified, he or she is on paid administrative leave until the results of the investigation are complete. In this case, he should be on the same type of leave until the investigation is complete.

Hard to be "innocent" when it's a fact he was legally drunk and driving the car the deceased was riding in....:dunno:

Sounds and looks like this is a home game for the Steelers!

So we can just stop holding trials for people accused of OWI? Why end there? Anytime the media says there's solid evidence against somebody that should be good enough to toss them in prison for a while. That should ease the caseload on our courts a little bit.

Until he's proven guilty he has every right to be out roaming free like anyone else. If his teammates welcome him on the sideline then they apparently are trying to show him support. I won't judge them for that.

There are rules for celebrities and us highly influential people that you guys just couldn't possibly understand...

The pressure we live under, the women, the cars, our houses and all the cool toys we got. You just don't know how bad we have it.

From the look on his face he does not think badly of his act. This A$$ hat needs to put out of the league..... permanently. He should face the results of his poor decision making as we would have to. He should be alone, in a small room by himself for a while or until he comes to grips with his idiocy.

That felon that used to play for the Atlanta Hawks made poor decisions and spent some time in a small room but the NFL powers-that-be let him right back into the league as soon as his stay in the small room was over.

Give the guy a break. It was just a practice squad guy that he killed. Not a starter or anything.

Man, you'd better start using your purple or someone's gonna call you names and think bad things about you.

Besides. The dead guy was his friend. It's all good.

Was he playing? No? Huh, maybe he's on leave.

Not that I could care less about team sports in general, but being pissy about who is sitting on the sidelines sounds like someone needs more to worry about in their lives.

I know, right. Sure they were good friends in college...but he made new friends when he joined the Cowboys. NFL friends > college friends.
