Can we open up an existing mount possibly.

I thought about that, Ruger rings don't have enough metal on the top so Allen would have to fab that from scratch.

Maybe you need a 50BMG rifle ..... it's hard to get tired of those !

Anybody make a bolt action rifle in 50 BMG that looks like a regular rifle with a wood stock?
