To Optimize the camo for the kitchen environment I would have gone with white & tan!! but thats just me!!

I'm not a 1911 guy, and especially don't like the "bobtail" design, but that gun is friggin' HAWT.

Paint was Brownells' Alumahyde II (Earth Brown, Tan and Coyote, finished with a final coat of Matte Clear). Initial color was put on the upper, lower and optic/mount separately. Pattern was achieved using a "mummy wrap" technique on the fully assembled gun.

I like it.
