Called yesterday and the lady told me they are just now on applicants from the last week in November and first week of December. I applied 12/29 (Marion Co.) and she told me to call back in 3 weeks. That would be at least 7 weeks for me.

What did you guys do with L-1 identity solutions that seemed to speed up the processing time?

Aside from the extra $14.95, I don't know.
I used them and I got it back in 9 days (7 business days).

I imagine they must expedite the form and background research faster than a government agency can.

I highly recommend spending the extra money (for those that haven't started the process yet).

I reside in Marion County BTW.

Copper is correct - my bad.
The money order or pay online total was $85.95 ($75.00 + 10.95).

An additional $50 (MO) goes with you to the local police(city county bldg in marion county), where they again scanned my thumbs and trigger fingers (only).

I applied online and finished up the process by going to the city county building on Monday to pay my local fee. Did my fingerprinting through L1 and got my lifetime tonight!!! Total of three days.

8 weeks ... pretty common LTCH timing

It was pretty textbook as far as I am concerned; volume and other factors taken into the equation, I am not complaining... at any rate, just pleased to be having my 'piece for the piece'

    Doh!

Just realized I let my LTCH expire.

I'll be starting the process and keep this thread up to date.

That kinda sucks.. You'll have to pay for a new issue, instead of a renewal(at least thats what Marion Co. did to a friend of mine)...

Does anyone have any experience w/ the Online apps? How does that work? Do you apply, then they call you and schedule you to come in for prints and $$, or do you just go down there as soon as you apply, etc?
