Current LTCH Wait

Im in your same boat. Im in ft wayne applied on 3/8 and still no permit. I have a clean record....I did it old fashion way and I guess I did it in peak time when everyone was going....

Well, finally finished applying today. Said I should get something back within 4 weeks now!

But the PITB didn't end today. I went to the Sherrif's department first, then the ol' lady said, "Wait, do you live in city limits?" To which I replied, "Yes". Turns out I needed to go to the local PD. So I went there, the fella wasn't there, so I walked around for 20 minutes and came back and waited another 5 minutes and then he showed up. Nice guy. We chatted and he let me hold his Glock 19.

So now the wait officially begins!

Interesting. I live in a city but went to the Sheriff's Dept and had no problem. Maybe it is different around here..

I actually just got an email from ISP and he said there may be a problem with my print card....whatever that means. Oh well..he said someone will be contacting me this week

What's outlook on renewal? My father renewed from his 4yr to a lifetime back in February and still hasn't recieved it. He doesn't want to carry until he gets his card back even though I explained the law to him.

Did you sign it ? That's been a problem in the past for some folks. The PD forgot to have them sign the card.

I did my digital fingerprinting on Monday, I went to the police department on Wednesday, paid cash. Today I got my LTCH. This has go to be the -fastest- I've seen on here!

I seriously anticipated a much longer wait!


EDIT: Tomorrow I get it laminated and copies made.
