have we one single person post to say they've been denied?
I don't want to go that far back into this thread but I am curious.
I wonder if the denial letter is what so many have been truly waiting for.
that would suck and I don't wish that upon any of you that have been waiting for so long.

There have actually been 3 that I know of in recent memory. Mostly for failure to disclose a conviction. One for psych I think.

I was denied, had a pesky pi and a owi within 3 years. Didn't know that law even existed. I submitted last August and received denial in March 2013. I have since resubmitted because both charges are currently older than 3 years. One of them wasn't even charged for it, but law says if you get arrested for two and charged with one in 3 years you get denied.

Have since reorganized my life style. I was 23 and now I'm 27 and light years smarter.

Did you resubmit or appeal. Hopefully you appealed.

    thanks, lectric.
do you remember if the denials
had to wait 4-6 months, etc?
    or were they denied promptly?

As I recall, both waited long times. One guy waited close to 11 months. He had to drive to Indy and sign a corrected application listing his arrest. But, and again calling on memory, I think they issued him on the spot after that.

I don't know if the guy with the psych denial ever got issued.

If you have any, ANY, arrest record, dismissed, probation, suspended, whatever - be prepared for a 6 month wait.

Except for folks like me and "supernatural5"...he's the only other member here that I know of that has almost exact stats as me...I'm not sure if he got his yet or not, though !

Wondering if anyone has experienced this long? .

MANY, MANY people here have experienced WAYYY longer of a wait......Micah, stranger danger, Supernatural5, nightwindrc and myself.....just to name a few.

    Here's my Current Stats:

    I applied online on 12/30/12
    I did my fingerprints L1 on 1-7-13

ISP received my app on 1-14-13

I'm a former permit holder within the past 15 yrs (I let it expire).
I have minor crim history with a single, non-violent, misdemeanor from over 23 years ago.

So that mean that my "Official Wait Time" started on 1-14-13

Or to put it another way:

    306,720 minutes
