    Mine took 4 days. :D

I was fingerprinted at L1 on Friday, dropped by the downtown PD the same afternoon, and received my LTCH on Tuesday of the following week.

This was in late March of this year.

I used the L1 process (in Greenwood) - made the appointment online. Went to local PD right after the L1 appointment on 4/4/12 - received my permit on 4/14/12 (exactly 10 days)!

Just left the city county building, was told I should have it in the mail in 8-10 days! No I do not have any kind of a criminal background, I know that slows it down.

Moved to IN, filled out application online for a Lifetime Personal Defense license, didn't know about electronic fingerprinting, so I went to local PD to get inked. Paid them, mailed a check and fingerprints to state.

    Been waiting 1.5 months now.

    :twocents: GO ELECTRONIC.

I did the L1 fingerprinting process and went to the Hendricks county sheriffs dept 2.5 weeks ago. Hadn't received anything yet so I called the State Police firearm division. Trooper gladly looked it up for me, where he informed me it looks like Hendricks county forget to click "submit" in the CRIS(sp?) system?

Called Hendricks county, and they submitted it on the phone for me.

Hendricks finally submitted Friday before last. This wednesday my LTCH was sitting in the mailbox. So it was in my mailbox 3 business days after being submitted.
