I applied 01-31-12 - and it was issued on 03-19-12.

I choose to go the standard (non electronic) method of fingerprinting.

i renewed my 4 year and converted it to a lifetime at the first of march ... i used the L-1 process ... filled out for at 7:00am and got ginger printed at 8:00am on wednesday and got my permot in the mail box the following Wednesday -- 7 days and ony 3 or 4 business days if you count mail time ....

After I payed my local fee to the chief, mine was in my mail box in 4 short days. I was astounded and so was the chief.

My wife dropped hers in the mailbox on Saturday. Did it the good ole fashion way here in Greenfield. The lady at the PD told her 4-6 weeks.

Took mine 6 days, did L1 instead of the old-fashioned way and I'm in Marion county. The wife is going to L1 tomorrow (er, later today) for her fingerprints and then downtown for the local part... Hope to have it by Wed~Thurs next week.

3/19 - L1
3/20 - Paid local w/ money order.

?/?? - Received LTCH

Update when I receive it.

Received my pink paper today. 3/31.

Mine took exactly 9 weeks and one day. I applied on January 27th of this year. There are a ton of threads out there with people posting all of the random lengths of time that it took them to receive their LTCH, but the best advice I got after I was told 6-8 weeks was...BE PATIENT. It's worth the wait.

Someone should have advised you to go the L1 route. Much quicker.
