Son in law got his Lifetime in exactly 4 weeks!

Printed/submitted May 29th. Received July 8th. Almost 6 weeks.

I applied for renewal on June second, was told there'd be a three month wait.
Went to pick up the mail today, low and behold! An envelope with a pink slip of paper.
Thirty-six day turnover from submission to reception.

I also note, if you're in the NewHaven area, Across the Tracks bar and grill is a nice place (got caught by the train when going to get it laminated)

Lucky dogs ya all it took over 6 months but some of it my falt (forgot one question) but they also misplaced my app and when found and returned to me it took about 2 weeks

HELL YES! I applied and mailed mine on 6/2/09 and it was issued on 7/2/09.. received today 7/8/09!!!

4 weeks?? Amazing!

Sent it out on June 10, received July 10. Looks like the wait is coming down.

Mailed my application off: 5/27/09, license issued 7/7/09, received 7/10/09

Mailed 18yr old son's application: 5/27/09, license issued 6/29/09, received 7/3/09

Son tells me is was done sooner because he's not old...hahaha...

Just got my lifetime. It took right at 4 weeks. Mine arrived the day my 4 year expired.

I finally applied for mine today in Plainfield. The cop who did my fingerprints told me 4 months... I hope he's wrong.

Also, to everyone - When is the appropriate time to call and ask what the hold-up is? (in a better worded way, of course). Who could/would you call in that sort of circumstance? It shouldn't take as long as it does...
