    If you want to know the year of manufacture, you should be able to go to the Taurus site and type in the serial number and it should tell you.

    gotta admit, letting the first 357 off was a little surprising after shooting .38 first but real still controllable



    Try the 115 gr 357. They shoot much smoother than any 38 I've shot. Less recoil, but even more speed. Wal Mart sells them in hollow point cheap. Better for target practice than most imo.

    I need to learn about the various shooting sports I guess. I like the ones that simulate scenarios with shooting from cover, from a car, etc.

    IDPA is pretty fun and has helped my actually be proficient with my guns. I'd like to try out some other shooting sports this summer as well
