That is Norrell's moly resin which is a bake on product. DuraCoat is an epoxy based paint which is very durable but not as tough as the Norrell's.

What kind of prep work is needed to be done to the slide for that moly resin? Is it just clean and bake or sandblast?

You might get it to adhere to an older model Glock slide without blasting but the newer model slides have to be blasted first.

Based on Metro40's G22, I sent my G19 slide off to Cory on Tuesday.

I picked it back up today (Thursday).

As always, Cory's work is amazing. The gray color is actually darker than the pictures show, and it gives it a great contrast without being too bold.

I immediately took it out to lovemywood's range and put 50 rounds thru it, just to make sure it would still run. Of course, it did.

I'm not sure what John is calling it now. It used to be called "Colt Grey" but I believe he had to change the name.

Joe-- Cwood had his 870 done in the same "Colt Grey" color by Cory. I'm not sure if he has any pictures of it here on INGO, but it would give you an idea of the color on a larger scale. It's a very nice color.
